Donut Deliciousness

Leslie, Genevie, Brock and Geoff talk donuts and visit with Amber Ramsay at Carl's Donuts.

On the September episode of Las Vegas Weekly’s Second Helping food podcast, we’re sharing digital donuts with senior editor Geoff Carter and discussing all aspects of our collective breakfast pastry obsession. Do you prefer cake or yeast donuts? Is an apple fritter a donut? Should we spell it donuts or doughnuts? Call it whatever you want as long as you bring a dozen from your favorite shop. We’re also checking in with Amber Ramsay at Carl’s Donuts to find out what it’s like to grow up in a truly delicious family business and what the most popular varieties are these days. And of course we’re sharing the best things we ate last month, from Korean barbecue ribs crafted by an incredible bartender to softshell crab salad from an overlooked Thai restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip.

You can also find Second Helping on YouTube and Apple Podcasts.

Second Helping is produced by Genevie Durano, Brock Radke and Leslie Ventura for Las Vegas Weekly magazine.
