Las Vegas’ booming local brewery community got some great news this week, as Tenaya Creek Brewery announced it is partnering with Wirtz Beverage Nevada to sell its beers statewide.

“Recently, there’s been a huge call for quality, local craft beer, and Tenaya Creek is at the forefront of that charge in Nevada,” Wirtz craft portfolio specialist Michael Shetler said in a press release. “They’re the hometown guys known for consistently creating great beer, and we’re excited to be able to help them expand their reach.”

The move means that soon beer lovers all over the state will be able to enjoy Tenaya Creek’s four year-round products—Hop Ride India Pale Ale, Bonanza Brown Ale, Pilsner and Hefeweizen—and almost a dozen season offerings. (The brewery’s products are already distributed in Arizona, Southern California and Alberta, Canada.)

Tim Etter, who founded Tenaya Creek as a brewery and restaurant with his three siblings in 1999 says the move is huge for his company, which dropped the food service portion of its business in 2008 to focus on beer only. “Wirtz Beverage can help us expand our reach. The fact that they can take our brands and move them statewide is a real advantage,” Etter said in the release. “We’re used to being the local guys; we’ve built and grown our brands here in Nevada. It’s our home and there’s no reason why our beers shouldn’t be available to anyone here who wants to drink them.”
